Camden Haven Nursery
Our nursery has been supplying the industry with SOCo stock since the commercialisation of the breeding program and is currently the largest supplier of SOCo seed. The nursery is located on the Camden Haven River on the Mid-North coast of NSW at a site that sees very little impact from rainfall events. The estuary is disease and Pacific oyster free so can send oysters to practically anywhere in NSW and Queensland (some northern NSW estuaries require a Section 37 Permit and may be limited to when they can receive oysters). We have supplied nearly 100 oyster businesses with seed ranging in size from oysters that are retained (will sit on) on 4mm mesh to those that are retained in 30mm mesh.
